Book Report Competition

the finalists
At the end of last term, students in years 3-7 participated in a book report competition run by the Accenture company.
For the competition, students were first required to write a report on a favourite book of theirs and submit it to Mrs Elkington, our teacher librarian. The finalists, who were selected by Mrs Elkington, went on to represent our school at a morning tea in the city where they presented their report in front of a panel of judges.
Pule from year 7 won the competition. He wow'ed the judges with his report on Roald Dahl's novel 'Esio Trot'. Lachlan from year 5 came in a close second behind Pule.
Congratulations to all students who entered the competition and to the finalists, who made it to the panel round. You have made our school proud.
